A couple of years ago, I spent an unforgettable weekend with my girlfriends at the SLS Beverly Hills. One of those quintessential Los Angeles getaways. We ate dinner at a trendy sushi restaurant known for its celebrity visits. We had drinks at the Chateau Marmont and unknowingly made friends with the general manager. We took our chances at getting into the latest nightlife hotspot - and ended up being bumped to the front of the line.

And we spent our days lounging poolside at the SLS Beverly Hills, which a month later made its first appearance on Entourage. It's one of my "remember for always" vacations. And it was my first time experiencing the playful and indulgent collection that is SLS.

The SLS South Beach is the brand's newest hotel and has the same take on whimsy and fun as its sister property in LA. A journey into a dreamlike world, the hotel blends contrasting materials and eclectic furniture for a look that is flamboyant but functional. Even rocker Lenny Kravitz put his mark on the Miami hotel, designing a poolside bungalow and penthouse suite.

Chefs Jose Andres (The Bazaar) and Katsuya Uechi (Katsuya) are taking the reins at the on-site restaurants. And you’ll also find Hyde nightclub for entertainment. Before you go, check out The Salon, where pros will make you head-to-toe red-carpet ready.
